SafeToNet Collaborates with Intel to advance the future of AI-Powered Safeguarding

HarmBlock Optimised for Intel-powered AI PCs on a global-scale

September 14th, 2026

SafeToNet, developer of the world’s leading preventative AI safeguarding technology, today announced its optimization of its HarmBlock platform for Intel powered AI-PCs.

HarmBlock is a real-time safeguarding solution that operates directly on-device, preventing the filming, viewing, and sharing of harmful and explicit content before harm occurs. Unlike traditional monitoring and reporting tools, HarmBlock is a new category of embedded safeguarding technology that intervenes proactively - creating a safer digital environment for children and vulnerable users while preserving privacy through on-device processing.

SafeToNet and Intel will work collaboratively to enhance HarmBlock's ability to leverage the AI capabilities of Intel’s OpenVINO toolkit -on Intel Core and Intel Core Ultra processors- to improve performance and power efficiency for local inference. The solution will be deployed on Intel-powered AI PCs across education, public sector, enterprise and consumer markets where demand for effective digital safeguarding solutions continues to grow.

“Artificial intelligence is transforming every aspect of the digital world - creating enormous opportunities, but also new risks for children and vulnerable users.

For many years, SafeToNet has championed the principle that safeguarding should happen before harm occurs, not afterwards. We believe every AI-enabled device will ultimately require a safeguarding layer. Working with Intel enables us to accelerate that vision and bring preventative AI safeguarding to a global audience. With HarmBlock, children cannot see, film, or share explicit content.”

Richard Pursey, Chairman, SafeToNet

"As AI capabilities become more integrated into everyday computing, it's important that safety innovations can run efficiently, privately, and at scale. By working with SafeToNet to optimize HarmBlock for Intel platforms, we're helping enable real-time, on-device safeguarding experiences that take advantage of the AI capabilities built into modern Intel-based PCs. This collaboration demonstrates how AI can be applied in practical ways to help address important societal challenges while maintaining user privacy through local processing.”

Dennis Luo, Senior Director and General Manager, Worldwide Developer Relations & Innovation, Intel

This announcement comes amid growing global attention to online safety, child protection, and responsible AI use.

SafeToNet believes that device-level safeguarding technologies will play an increasingly important role in helping technology companies, educational institutions, and governments create safer digital environments.
