Geranium Project – Your Terms & Conditions (For Children)
Version 1.0
Last Updated: 2026-02-19
Issued By: SafeToNet Limited
This page explains the main rules for using Geranium in a simple way.
It is not a legal contract. Your parent or legal guardian agrees to the full rules for you.
If anything here seems confusing, ask your parent or legal guardian to help you.
1. What Geranium Is For
Geranium is an app that helps to keep you safer online when using your phone or tablet.
It looks for pictures and videos that might not be suitable for children and helps block them so you aren’t harmed. It does not always get it right, but it tries to so sometimes you may still see something that your parent or legal guardian doesn’t want you to., We are sorry if that happens.
2. Who Is in Charge
Your parent or legal guardian is in charge of your Geranium account.
They:
- Set it up for you.
- Choose the settings.
- Decide what is allowed.
- Help you if something goes wrong.
You should not try to change these settings yourself.
3. What Happens When Something Is Blocked
If Geranium thinks something might be unsafe:
- The app may close.
- A picture or video may be hidden.
- Your camera may stop you from filming something.
- You will see a message.
If you think it was a mistake, you can ask your parent or legal guardian to look at it. You don’t have to do that though. It is your choice.
4. Asking for a Review
You can ask your parent or legal guardian to review something that was blocked.
Your parent can:
- Look at it.
- Decide if it is OK or not.
- Delete it or restore it.
- Choose whether to send it to SafeToNet to help improve how the app and its safety systems work.
You cannot send anything yourself.
5. Using Geranium Properly
When you use Geranium, you should:
- Use your device kindly and legally.
- Not try to break the app.
- Not try to turn off safety features.
- Follow your parent or legal guardian’s rules.
6. About Mistakes
Sometimes the app may get things wrong.
It might block something safe or miss something unsafe.
That is why your parent or legal guardian can review things.
7. Being Fair and Respectful
Do not use Geranium to:
- Hurt other people.
- Share bad or harmful things.
- Try to trick the app.
Geranium is there to help, not to be cheated.
8. If You Stop Using Geranium
If you stop using Geranium, your parent or legal guardian can remove it from your device.
SafeToNet can also block your access if the rules are broken.
9. If Something Worries You
If you are worried about anything:
- Talk to your parent or legal guardian.
- Ask them to contact SafeToNet.
You deserve to feel safe and respected.
10. Who Makes Geranium
Geranium is made by SafeToNet Limited.
They build tools to help children stay safe online.
