Who could I reach out to simply talk or get advice?
Once in a while we all need someone to talk to, get advice from or simply have a sympathetic ear to listen to our own thoughts and experiences. It could be that your sibling is just being a bit annoying lately, or maybe kids at school are a bit mean sometimes. Perhaps you’re just feeling a bit low and you don’t know why. Whatever it is, you always have a place to share your thoughts and be listened to. On your SafeToNet dashboard, you can find the Advice & Guidance section containing some articles and videos that can give you some insight.
If you feel like you need to talk to someone but are in doubt about who you can talk to freely, feel free to reach out to Childline. This is an online platform just created for you. You don’t need to tell them who you are, and they are absolutely trained to listen and give advice on many matters. They simply there for you, to listen and help.
