It is with immense sadness that we announce that Neil Fairbrother has passed away having lost his brave battle with cancer.
As one of our first employees, Neil was SafeToNet’s Chief Marketing Officer for many years and helped to establish the company’s brand around the world. He was driven to make the online world a safer place for children and detested the inequalities that exist in so many corners of life. It was of no surprise therefore that when the Company launched the SafeToNet Foundation, Neil stepped forward and grabbed the opportunity with both hands to drive home its mission to ensure that the online safety of children is equitable for all and not simply a privilege for those that can afford it.
It was at the Foundation where Neil launched his renowned series of safeguarding podcasts that went on to win critical acclaim throughout our industry. As capable and talented as he was, his colleagues and friends will remember him for his character and personality. He was kind, considerate, graceful in all he did, humorous and above all, a dear friend to us all.
