How does the Emotions Diary work?
The Emotions Diary is your private space where you can expand on your experiences, memories and all emotions you feel – because that is what makes up your journey. When you select an emotion in your SafeToNet app, this emotion will automatically be added to your diary. Here, you will be able to write notes on each emotion expanding on your experience and what made you feel that way in the first place. You can also select which emotion makes up your ‘emotion of the day’ – in short, if you had to pick an emotion to be the one that most defines that day, which one would it be?
Once you build this up, you will, with time, see a pattern forming on your Emotions Diary represented by the different colours of your emotions – this can help you get to know yourself a bit better and see when things have been good or bad for long periods of time. Sometimes we don’t know when we have been down for too long. This way we can know when to ask for help.
