Personal Computers is an organisation that genuinely cares about the social wellbeing of its customers and community. Personal Computers also shares our values and supports our mission to safeguard children online. We are delighted that they will be promoting online child safety in the region and be the exclusive distributor for our Net Nanny solution.

About Personal Computers

Personal Computers, incorporated in 2008 has now become the largest ICT vendor and solutions provider in Maldives. They are the Sole Agent Distributor for Lenovo and Logitech in Maldives, and also the authorized partner for various international brands such as HP, Sophos, Grandstream, Ubiquiti, Microsoft, Adobe, VERTIV, Fortinet, Arcserve, HPE, VMWARE, 3CX, CITRIX and Aruba.

With rising numbers of cyberbullying and child grooming in Maldives; Personal Computers took the responsibility of providing a solution and are taking steps to making the internet a safer space for everyone in Maldives. Their Antibullying Campaign in association with SafeToNet was launched, raising awareness for the necessity of a solution Maldives needed. Personal Computers and SafeToNet are working with Maldives Police Services Cyberbullying Unit and their Family and Child Protection agency to keep children safe online.

Our Co-Founder Sharon Pursey on the partnership with Personal Computers:

“In Personal Computers we have found an organisation with people who really care about their social responsibility. This partnership enables us to reach a vulnerable territory knowing that we have genuine commitment and cultural understanding underpinning our collaboration. We look forward to the positive impact this will have in The Maldives.”

Moosa Aswan, CEO of Personal Computers, Maldives:

“Regardless of culture, ethnicity or religion, it is a common language when it comes to the safety and wellbeing of children. We believe that bringing the SafeToNet solution to Maldives is our responsibility given the fact that as a an ICT business, we introduce kids to technological gadgets, e-learning and connectivity solutions here in Maldives. If we do not have a solution to keep children safe in that medium, we are no better than the guilty. With this partnership we hope to bring awareness and to create a safer internet space for our children. I applaud and highlight the work of SafeToNet and their fight to keep everyone’s kids safe online!”
